Cleerly Uses AI Software to Identify Plaque in Every Artery

Imagine you could look into the future with cutting-edge technology that prevents heart attacks. How would this impact your own life or someone you love?

Today’s cardiologists treat only symptomatic patients. But more than 50 percent of patients have no symptoms before a devastating cardiac event occurs. Early detection and treatment could save their lives.

Now, there is a revolutionary new test – Cleerly — that can identify atherosclerosis plaque in each coronary artery and branch, giving physicians a powerful tool to detect plaque build-up and provide preventive treatment.

Cleerly is literally a life-saving new technology.

Cleerly Tests Now Offered in Viera, Florida

The Center for Antiaging, Aesthetic and Rejuvenation Medicine in Viera, FL is the first and only provider of Cleerly testing in the Space Coast region of Florida.

Here’s how Cleerly works.

Cleerly employs cutting-edge AI software that measures atherosclerosis in the blood vessels of the heart. This non-invasive software is designed to overlap and elucidate disease in the vessels after a coronary computerized tomography angiography (CCTA) is performed.

Arterial plaque, which is made of fat, cholesterol and other materials, form in the arterial wall. These lesions become dangerous as they build up over time in the blood vessels supplying the heart (coronary arteries). This build-up of plaque eventually will rupture like a blister into that vessel, causing a heart attack or myocardial Infarction, which can then cause damage to the heart or sudden death.

By precisely identifying, characterizing, and quantifying plaque build-up, Cleerly can provide early-warning information that was previously unobtainable. Armed with this detailed level of knowledge and a holistic approach to heart health, physicians can work with their patients to treat and prevent heart attacks.

Cleerly tests are non-invasive scans – a painless diagnostic tool that produces detailed and extensive information.

Why Early Plaque Detection Saves Lives

Heart disease killed nearly 700,000 individuals in the U.S in 2020. This was twice the number of Covid 19 deaths in the same year.

Research shows that the average age for the first heart attack is 65 for males and 72 for females. However, the age for sudden, fatal heart attacks is only 50 — which includes many of the victims with silent symptoms.

Astonishingly, 70 percent of patients who suffer a heart attack are considered low-risk of by the traditional methods used to detect heart disease.

At the same time, statistics show that two to three of the referrals for invasive evaluations of the heart are not needed, and 90 percent of stress tests come back normal. These numbers underscore how ineffective conventional testing can be.

The human cost is enormous – heart attacks are the number one killer in the U.S. The financial cost of cardiac care also is hefty. The nation spends $320 billion annually on heart attack patients, a price tag that is expected to increase to $820 billion in 2030.

Cleerly testing, coupled with individualized, holistic medical care, has the potential to substantially decrease human suffering and death and to lower public expenses at the same time.
